This film, by Brent Cox and starring myself, is based on a poem by Julie Carr. After the publication of her book Real Life: An Installation (Omnidawn, 2018), Carr turned to 36 other artists to actualize her installation poems in digital and/or performance form. These visualizations along with the poems are available on the website.

 

Additionally, Carr toured this collaborative work: screening and performing pieces across the U.S. in 2019. We were lucky to join in this touring show at the &Now Festival at the University of Washington, Bothell, where I performed live "with" this video.
